Florida Barber Arrested For Allegedly Shooting At 2 Customers Who Complained About Missed Appointments

Florida barber shot two clients this week after they confronted him for missing scheduled haircut appointments, the police said.

John Digiovanni, 35, of Boca Raton, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm.

The Boca Raton police received a report from a man who said that Digiovanni had shot at him and a friend in the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church on Monday.

 Before the shooting, one of the victims called the barber earlier in the day to discuss why he had made and missed two-week appointments, prompting Digiovanni to yell and make threats, According to the victim.

Later that night, the client asked Digiovanni to meet him so that they could discuss what was bothering him. They agreed to meet at the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church on Mizner Boulevard.

 Both friends went to the location and first arrived. When the barber arrived, "he started  yelling and screaming from his vehicle," the victim told the police.

One of the friends told Digiovanni that he only wanted to talk and started walking towards his vehicle, but the barber got out of his car and pointed a gun at the victim. The police said it in a statement, he then fired two rounds at both men, got into his car, and fired another round before fleeing.

Nobody was injured in the incident, according to police.

Digiovanni remains in Palm Beach County jail, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
